History of Jesus Christ the human god

Part 29:

Lessons Taught During the Last Supper

Chapter 168:

The Only Way to Communicate with God

Jesus then said, “Let your heart not be troubled. Believe in God and believe in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you. I am going now to prepare a place for you. After I go to prepare a place, I will come back again and take you with me so that where I go, you can come also.

“You know where I am going and you know the way.”

Thomas asked, “My Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me439. If you know me, you also know my Father. From now on, you know him and you see him.”

Philip then said, “Our Lord, show us the Father and convince us.”

Jesus said to him, “All this time I been with you, and you still do not know me, Philipa? 440 He who sees me has seen the Father. So why do you say ‘Show us the Father?’” Don’t you believe that I am in my Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I speak I do not speak by myself; but my Father who is in me, He does these works. Believe that I am in my Father and my Father is in me; and if not, just believe in the works. I tell you truthfully that he who believes in me will do the works that I do and even greater works than these things shall he do because I am going to the Father.

“I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father will be glorified through His son. If you ask me in my own name, I will do it.”441

"In my name" is an Aramaic idiom meaning "according to my method". Jesus' method was complete faith that His prayer is instantly answered, forgiveness, humility and love. If you try to make something work in Thomas Edison's name, you will try again after 10,000 failures.

439.  John 14:6. If you know this, you know you must be able to reach Jesus in order to reach God. So how do you reach Jesus? Revelation 3:20 tells us, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me (NKV).” Non-Christians do not believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven, but God has made it clear to us. God loves His creation and wants us to spend eternity with Him. God is perfectly righteous and does not want evil people in His presence, any more than you would want an evil person living in your house. God came to earth by making Himself in the form of a human, Jesus. Jesus was both God and a living human. When a criminal goes to court, he or she must pay for their crime. God is so perfectly righteous that all of our righteousness is like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Because God loves us, God paid for all the sins of all humans. In the form of His Son, a human, He put Himself to death in the most unimaginably tortuous way. Now if we accept the sacrifice of God's Son as payment for our sins, God forgives us of our sins and allows us into heaven to be with God for eternity. When we accept the payment of Jesus, we should also strive with all our hearts, minds and souls to sin no more, because God still does not want unrighteous people in His house. Believe in Jesus to go to heaven and sin no more.

Neither Buddha nor Mohammed nor Lao Tse nor Confucius nor Mary Baker Eddy nor belief in Krishna nor any other religious being gave their lives in extreme punishment and death to pay for all the sins of all humans, including yours. This is what makes Jesus the only way to get to heaven. Love Jesus and follow Him.
440. Jesus here used a play on Philip’s name which means “learned one”.
441. John 14:1-14.

 Chapter 169:

Lessons on the Holy Spirit (the Comforter)

As the Passover Supper continued, Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments. I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter to be with you forever. This is the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because they cannot see Her442 nor can they know Her because She abides in you and is manifested through you.

“I will not leave you as orphans, for I will return to you soon. The world will not see me, but you will. Because I live, you also will live.

“In that day you will know that I am with my Father and you are with me, and I am with you. Whoever has my commandments in them and obeys them is the one who loves me. Whoever loves me will be loved and receive mercy by my Father. I will love and have mercy on him and will reveal myself to him.”

Judah (not of Iscariot) asked Him, “My Lord, why is it that you will show yourself to us and not to the world?”

Jesus replied, “Whoever loves me keeps my word443 and my Father will love them. We will appear to them and make a place for them to live. Whoever does not love me does not keep my word; and the word that you hear is not my own, but the Father who sent me.444

“I have made known these things to you while I am with you; but the Comforter, the advocate Holy Spirit that my Father will send in my name will teach you everything445 and will remind you of everything that I have told you.

“I leave you with peace; I give you my own peace, not as the world gives you, but as I give you. Let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid. You heard that I told you that I am going away and that I will return to you. If you love me, you will rejoice because I am going to my Father; for my Father is greater than me.

“I am telling you now before it happens so that when it does happen, you may believe. I will not talk with you very much anymore; for the prince [the leader, Satan?] of this world [the people] is coming, and he has nothing to do with me. The world will learn that I love my Father, as I do as my Father has commanded me. Now get up, and let us go away from here.”446

442. I could be wrong but have chosen to refer to the Holy Spirit as having female qualities, as is demonstrated throughout Jesus’ descriptions of the Holy Spirit and throughout the Book of Proverbs. While all Bible translators refer to the Holy Spirit as He, the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek use exactly the same word for all genders, he, she or it, even as the Chinese and most all other languages other than  Indo-European, Afro-Asiatic and a number of Niger–Congo languages are gender-neutral. The Holy Spirit that Jesus describes has all the attributes of a mother. It is the mother who comforts her children, who teaches her children and reminds them of what they need to know (John 14:26). The mother rebukes her children concerning sin and teaches them righteousness and about judgment and sin and guides her children in truth (John 16:8-13).  The mother does not tell you what she wants you to know but what the father wants her to tell you (John 16:13). In Proverbs 1:20-33; 9:1-12; 2:2-7; 3:13-21; 4:5-13; 8:1-36; 9:1-12, and in Proverbs chapters 10 through 19 and 23, 24, 29, 30 and 31 wisdom is an exact description of the Holy Spirit and has all the attributes of a mother. All Bible translations refer to wisdom as she or her. We have the Father who is the leader of the family, the Mother who is the Holy Spirit, Comforter and wisdom of the family and the Son Jesus, who is obedient to the Father. God created us in His image and likeness, which has these three attributes.
443. Commandments?
444. This is from the Aramaic Peshitta translation that went to Assyria (Lamsa translation). The Aramaic Peshitta or Syriac (Victor Alexander translation) that the apostles took to Persia says, “Those who are gracious to me do not recognize my manifestation, and the manifestation that you adhere to was not mine, but the Father who sent me.”
445. Matthew 10:27; John 10:27; Isaiah 28:9.
446. John 14:15-31.

 Chapter 170:

How to Receive the Love of Jesus and Have Success

As they were leaving, Jesus continued teaching. “I am the true vine, and my Father is the worker. Whichever branch in me that does not bear fruit, my Father cuts off; and the one that produces fruit, my Father prunes it so that it brings forth much fruit. You have already been pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Graft yourself onto me and I onto you, for the branch cannot produce fruit by itself, unless it is grafted to the vine; likewise you also must remain with me.

“I am the vine and you are the branches. He who adheres to me and me with them will produce abundant fruit because without me you cannot do anything.

“Unless a person remains with me he or she will be cast out like a branch that withers which they pick up and throw into the fire to be burned.447

“If you remain with me and my words remain with you, whatever you wish to ask for will be given to you. By this, the Father is glorified, that you produce abundant fruit.

“Just as my father has loved me, I also love you; so abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will be nourished by my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and became strengthened by His love.

“I have spoken these things that my joy may be in you and that you may be full of my happiness.

“This then is my commandment: that you love one another just as I have loved you. There is no greater love than that a person sacrifices his life for the sake of his friends. You are my friends, my family of the bride448 if you do everything that I ask you to do.

“From the beginning, I did not call you servants because a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have always called you my friends. I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you that your fruit might be continuous, so that whatever you ask in my name, my Father will give to you. I command you these things that you may love one another.”449

Just as the branch (you) cannot produce fruit or be successful without the vine (Jesus), the vine cannot produce fruit without the branch. He needs you, just as you need Him. God is the roots that sustain Jesus. Loving one another is only possible by knowing that God created all others with the same love that God had when He created you. Loving one another produces fruit and is the result of loving God.

 Chapter 171:

The World Will Hate You

Jesus continued, “If the world hates you, you must remember that it hated me first. If you were of the world, the world loves its own; but you are not of this world because I have chosen you out of this world. This is why the world hates you.

“Remember the word that I gave to you, that no servant is greater than his master. If they persecute me, they will also persecute you. If they keep my word, they will keep yours also.

“But they will do all these things to you because of my name because they do not recognize He who sent me.

“If I had not come and spoken to them, they would be without sin; but now they have no excuse for their sins. Whoever hates me, hates my Father also.

“If I had not performed the works that no man has ever done before their eyes, they would be without sin. Now they see these works and hate me and also my Father. This is so that the word which was written in their law will be fulfilled, that they hated me for no reason.450

“When the Comforter comes whom I shall send to you from my Father, the Spirit of Truth which proceeds from my Father, She will testify concerning me. You will also testify because you have been with me from the beginning 461

“I have told you these things so that you may not be confused and stumble. They will throw you out of their synagogues, and the hour will come that whoever kills you will think that they are doing God a favor and presume that they are making an offering to God. They will do these things so that whatever happens in those times you will remember and understand that I told you so. I did not tell you before, because I was with you.452

“Now I am going to Him who sent me, and yet not one of you asked where I am going. Because I told you these things, sorrow has come and filled your hearts.”453

450. Psalm 35:19; 69:4.
451. You were predestined from the very beginning to be with Jesus and live with God forever. Ephesians 1:5-14.
452. Peter had been everywhere with Jesus and was taught more by Jesus than any other disciple. But Peter did not understand the depth of the truth that was given to Paul. Paul was never taught by Jesus when Jesus was manifested on earth, but was taught by Jesus after Jesus ascended to heaven (2Peter 3:15-18; Galatians 1:11-12).
453. John 15:12-27; 16:1-6.

Chapter 172:

The Purpose of the Comforter

“I am telling you the truth.” Jesus said, “It is for your benefit that I am going. If I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go away, I will send Her to you. [The original, untranslated Aramaic versions of the Bible all refer to the Holy Spirit as Her or She. The Greek translations are not the original.]

“When She comes, She will instruct the people concerning sin, righteousness and judgment; concerning sin because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness because I go to my Father and you will no longer see me;454 concerning judgment because the leader of this world has been judged.

“I have many more things to tell you, but you cannot understand them now; but when the Spirit of Truth comes, She will guide you into all truth. She will not speak on Her own, but what She hears, revealing to you things which will come in the future. She will glorify me because She will reveal what is mine and show it to you.

“In a little while you will not see me, but you will see me a little later, because I am going to my Father.”455

454. The disciples will no longer see Jesus with the exception that He appeared to them several times, and to over five hundred others. He then appeared to Paul, and has appeared to perhaps millions of Christians in the past two thousand years. Jesus must have meant here that He would not be with them on a daily basis, but only from time to time.
455. John 16:7-16.

 Chapter 173:

 Jesus Explains the Disciples’ Future

Then the disciples discussed with one another, “What is this that he told us, that in a little while we will not see him, and then in a little while we will see him because he is going to his Father? What did he mean, a little while? We cannot understand what he is talking about.”

Jesus knew they wanted to question Him so He said to them, “Do you want me to tell you about this that soon you will not see me and then a little later you will see me?

“Truly, truly I say to you that you will weep and wail while the world rejoices; and you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into a celebration. When a woman is in travail and is distressed and gives birth to a boy, she no longer remembers her pain because of her joy.456

“You are also depressed; but you will see me again and your hearts will rejoice and no one will be able to take your joy away from you.

“In that day you will not ask anything of me, but I am telling you truly that whatever you ask my Father in my name, He will give it to you. Before, you have not asked anything in my name; but ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be full.457

“Until now, I have spoken to you figuratively; but the time will come when I will tell you literally. I will clearly explain things to you concerning the Father. In that day when you ask in my name, I will not say I will ask the Father concerning you, for the Father Himself loves you because you have loved me and believed that I came forth from the Father. I emerged from the Father and came into the world. Now I am leaving the world and am going back to the Father.”

His disciples told Him, “Behold, now you are speaking openly and do not speak a single figurative word. Because of this, we know that you came from God.”

Then Jesus said, “Believe it; for the hour is coming and has now arrived when you will be scattered, every man to his own country and you will leave me alone; but I am never alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you these things that in me you will have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have conquered the world.”458

Blasphemed, crushed, virtually friendless, cursed, persecuted, lied about, hated, humbled, despised, mocked, betrayed, misunderstood, untraveled, unschooled, poor, unknown, without earthly influence or success, only 33 years old and now about to be whipped, with the skin torn off His back, nails puncturing His wrists and ankles, spit on, slapped, dehydrated with thirst, crucified, a sword stuck into his bowels, betrayed and deserted and yet Jesus was and is the conqueror!

456. When a girl is born in the East, the news is kept from the mother for a while if she is in danger, because it will sadden her. If a son is born they inform her at once to cheer her up.
457. God dried up the Red Sea three miles wide for about three million Jews to cross over 5,000 abreast. God produced enough manna to feed millions of Jews in the wilderness for forty years. God can give anything according to your need.
458. John 16:17-33.

Chapter 174:

 Jesus Prays for His Followers

After Jesus told these things He raised His eyes to heaven and prayed, “Oh my Father, the time has come; glorify your Son as Your Son glorifies you. You have given me power over all flesh so that whoever you have given to me shall attain eternal life.

“This is eternal life, that they shall know you to be The God of Truth, infinitely supreme, and that you have sent Jesus Christ.

“I glorified you on earth. I have been faithful to do the work that you gave to do, and I have finished.

“So now, oh my Father, glorify me in your presence with the same glory that I had with you before the world was created.459

“I have made your name known to those whom you gave me from the world; they were yours and you gave them to me, and they have honored your manifestation. Now they know that whatever you have given to me came from you. I gave to them the words that you gave to me, and they accepted them and know truly that I came forth from you, and they believed that you have sent me.

“What I request is for them and not for the world, but for those whom you have given me, because they are yours. Everything that is mine is yours, and what is yours is mine because they are yours and we are glorified by them.

“Hereafter I will not be with the people, but they will be with the people; so as I am coming to you, Oh holy Father, protect them by your name that you gave me, so that they may be one, just as we are one.

“While I was in the world, I protected them by your name. I protected those who you gave me, and not one of them was lost except the son of perdition who came to fulfill the prophecy of the Scripture.460

“Now I am coming to you, and I have spoken these things to the people that my joy may be fulfilled in them. I gave them your word, and the world hated them because they were not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

“What I request now is not that you take them out of the world, but that you protect them from evil. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Oh Father, bless them with your truth, because your word is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, so have I sent them into the world. I am glorifying myself, so that they too may be glorified by the truth.

“It is not just for their benefit alone that I am requesting this, but also for the sake of all those who believe in me because of their word. So that they all may become one just as you, Father, are with me and I am with you; so that the world may believe that you sent me.

“The glory that you gave me, I gave to them, so that they may be one just as you and I are one. I in them and you in me so that they may be united into one; so that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them just as you love me.

“Oh Father, I wish that those whom you have given me may also be with me where I am so that they can see my glory that you have given me, for you have loved me before the foundation of the universe. You are my righteous Father, but the world does not know you. I have known you and they know that you have sent me. I have made your name known to them, and am still making it known, so that the love with which you love me may be in them and so that I also may be in them.”461

In Revelation, Chapters 2 and 3, the “overcomers” had one thing in common: They all heard Jesus with their “ears” and followed Him. Jesus has overcome, and we are in Him and He is in us. We are His body in this world. There are seven churches, but only one body, one bride, and one who overcame (Ephesians 4:11-16).
